2014 Bike Ride and Native Trails Performance

B LENGTH: 18-19 miles PACE: 11- 13 mph

Meet at 9:30 am (depart at 9:45) Chaparral Park. at the northeast corner of Jackrabbit and Hayden in central Scottsdale.

We will ride north on the greenbelt for a while and then turn around and ride to the Scottsdale Center for the Arts to see the Native Trails performance of traditional native music, dance and art. It includes a native craft show. Light snacks and beverages are available for purchase, and there are many restaurants in the area if you wish to purchase food.

If you don't want to bike, you are welcome to join us at the grassy mall behind the Center for the Arts to see the performance. (7380 E. Second Street, Scottsdale, AZ 85251) (480) 421-1004. We will be arriving at the mall area around 11:45. Performance time: 12:00-1:00 PM. Riders may wish to bring a small towel or pad to sit on (in your back pack) and a bike lock. If you came by car, you may wish to bring a folding chair. HELMETS required for riders. Bring plenty of water. Ride will be canceled in case of rain. No signup, just show up. $5 fee for non-members, can be applied to membership dues.
