This activity has been re-scheduled from it's original date of August 12.

Please contact Bev for meeting time/location - but know that we may have to meet early, depending on the status of the monsoons.

Our hike, along the base of the Mogollon Rim, is 75% in the shade. If you haven't done this hike in awhile, you will be pleasantly surprised by the upgrades to the trail as it meanders through the Tonto National Forest.  Most of the rocks have been removed from the trail, and it now consists of gentle ups and downs with no severe climbing.  This will be an in and out hike, so going part way is also an option if you aren't up to 9.2 miles.

Bring 2-3 quarts of water, salty snacks, and wear a hat or sunscreen.

Cost to nonmembers is $5.
