Meet at 8:30 am (depart at 8:45) at the Desert Ridge Shopping Center, in front of the Target Store (21001 N. Tatum Blvd, Phoenix). To get there, from east or west on the 101 Fwy, turn north onto Tatum, take the first turn on the right (east), and enter into the center. Target is 200 yards down.

This is a casual 4X4 run with occasional stops, photo ops and possible short side trips to explore. We will explore Camp Creek Canyon (north of Fountain Hills) from the Verde River ending at Bartlett Dam Rd. Crossing. Plan on a late lunch/libations at Bryan’s Black Mountain BBQ, 6130 East Cave Creek Rd. in Cave Creek. Children and well behaved dogs welcome. Bring water, snacks and money for carpool.

We will need SUVs or pickups with off road ground clearance. If you are not sure your vehicle qualifies, please call one of us beforehand. Bring sunscreen, hat, boots, snacks and $ for carpool.

This event will be canceled if there is inclement weather in the forecast.

Cost to nonmembers is $5.
