Meet at 8:30 am (depart at 8:45) behind McDonalds, Carefree Hwy east of I-17.

Join us for a fun day with a moderate 4X4 drive on forest roads and the old Senator Highway built in 1866, south of Prescott. The road linked the state capital at Prescott to former towns like Senator, Goodwin and Walker, and also with a number of local mines in the area. We will stop along the way at historic and other points of interest and plan to end up at a great Mexican food restaurant in the Prescott area before returning to the valley. Need high clearance vehicle. Four wheel drive necessary if there’s been recent storms. Bring water and snacks for along the way.

Call leaders if in doubt about your vehicle or if you want to ride with someone or can take riders. Cost to non members is $5.00.
