We will be camping at the Needles Outpost, which is located just outside the park boundary off state road 211, about 78 miles south of Moab. The Group campsite accommodates pop-up or small trailers, tents, or car camping. I have also reserved four pull-through sites for full size trailers. There are no other lodging options that do not involve insurmountable logistical problems.

Trip price is estimated at $45-65/person. Hot showers are extra and are available for $3/shower.

The trip includes 5 nights camping and everyone will be asked to contribute to a pot-luck. The club may provide burgers/brats for a cook-out.

Hikes will vary from C to A. Hikes B and above will involve slick rock scrambling, ladder climbing, and minimal exposure (falling risk).

This is peak flower season and we will visit all the major attractions in the Needles.
