Meet at 6:30 am (depart 6:45) at the Fountain Hill's Wendys on Shea Blvd., just west of the Beeline Hwy.

If you've never hiked to Fossil Springs, this hike is a must. Our hike, just west of Strawberry, descends 2000 ft in the first 4 miles. Once we get into the canyon, we'll traverse Fossil Springs, then walk along a rolling up and down trail beside Fossil Creek to a large swimming hole with a beautiful waterfall. If it's warm, we can swim behind the waterfall or just splash around in the water. Bring/wear your bathing suits or wear hiking clothes that can get wet. We'll have a light lunch at the swimming hole, so pack the proper food. The hike out, all uphill and exposed, will get your attention!

Besides lunch, bring a minimum 2 liters of water. You can refill your bladders in the spring for the hike out if you're running low. Cost to non-member is $5.
