Meet at 6:45 am (depart at 7:00) at the Park-and-Ride on the south side of Bell Rd., just West of I-17. We’ll stash a shuttle vehicle at Picnic Area 7 near the Mesquite Canyon TH.

We’ll begin on the Goat Camp trail and connect with the Mesquite Canyon trail at mile 6.9. Goat Camp Trail has some steep sections and almost all of our elevation gain is on this trail. The views are spectacular, and if we're lucky we'll see some wildlife.

Wear sturdy hiking boots and bring at least 3 quarts of water, electrolytes and a light lunch/snacks.

There is a $6 per vehicle park entry fee unless you have a Maricopa County Parks Pass.

Cost to non-members is $5. Guests and new members should contact the hike leader prior to the hike.
