Join us for a fabulous week of hiking in the Columbia River Gorge/Mt. Hood area of northern Oregon. We'll be hiking at the base of Mt. Hood, along the Pacific Crest Trail, to the top of the famous Multnomah Falls, around Timothy Lake, along the wild and scenic Salmon River, and much more.

We've reserved multiple 2 BR, 2 Bath, fully-furnished resort condos in the town of Welches, Oregon. The trip cost, excluding transportation, food and incidentals, is $680 for the week. This cost is per bedroom/bath, and may be split in half for club members wishing to share a bedroom and queen-size bed. The condos are located approximately 1 hour southeast of the Portland International Airport.

You will be responsible for your own transportation to/from Oregon. From Phoenix to Portland, the driving time is around 20 hours and the flight time is around 2.5 hours. Those flying will have the option to meet at the airport and share the cost of rental cars (approximately $500/week plus gas divided by the number of riders). All others will share the cost of gas to and from the various trailheads.

SIGN-UP FOR THIS TRIP BEGINS ON NOVEMBER 1, 2015 AND IS ON A FIRST-COME BASIS. To sign up, contact Dan Rothman (phone or email). Because we expect the trip to become full, please sign up for yourself or yourself-and-roommate only. When you do, you will be sent a formal Trip Plan and Budget Plan for your review. A non-refundable deposit of $200 will be due within one week from receiving these plans.

This trip is limited to AzOTC members only.
