Meet at 7:00 am (depart 7:15) at the parking lot behind Denny’s, right next to the Park-and-Ride at the southwest corner of the Bell Road exit to I-17.

Starting at the Yavapai Vista in the Village of Oak Creek, we’ll hike out to and around Cathedral Rock on the new and beautiful HiLine Trail, then loop our way back to the start on the Baldwin, Templeton and Slim Shady Trails. The hike offers great views of Red Rock country in general, and Cathedral Rock from vantage points we don’t have on other trails. Once we arrive at Cathedral Rock, we’ll spend some time there for people who wish to climb up and around the Rock or simply have lunch and enjoy the spectacular scenery at one of Sedona’s most famous landmarks.

A Red Rock Pass ($5/car) or National Park Pass is required at the trailhead.

Afterwards, we’ll stop for something to eat in Oak Creek.

Wear sturdy hiking boots and bring plenty of water.

Cost to non-members is $5. New members and guests should contact hike leader before the hike.
