Meet at Canyon Lake's Acacia Rec. Area at 8 am and be ready to launch at 8:30.

Important: Email me if you're interested so I'll know how to contact you. Then check your email the night before in case we need to postpone the
paddle trip because of wind or rain. I'll forward a map of the lake showing the meeting place and our destinations.

Bring a kayak, paddle, drinking water, snack, hat, sun lotion, and you must wear a lifejacket.

A Tonto National Forest permit is required.

We'll paddle up First Water Creek, Boulder Creek, and Tortilla Creek. Expect great scenery and maybe see some wildlife. Eagles were spotted on my
last two visits. Assuming the wind won't be a factor, this should be a fairly easy paddle and will take approx. 3 hours. We'll need to stay together as a group, but we will stop to enjoy nature's beauty at the best locations.

Cost to non-members is $5.
