Meet at Canyon Lake at 8 am at the pullout before the 2nd bridge (before the marina and the Boulder Creek Recreation Site).

Rating, length, and elevation gain unknown, but the pace will be slow (and careful) due to the exploratory nature of this hike (probably no more than two hours). We'll kayak to the end of Boulder Cove, tie up our kayaks, put on our hiking boots, and then start our exploratory hike. Depending on how long we hike and our fatigue levels after the hike, we might continue kayaking on beautiful Canyon Lake.

For the hike, bring water for your needs, electrolytes, snacks, hat, sunscreen, hiking boots, and poles.

For kayaking, obviously bring your kayak, paddle, and lifejacket.

Required pass options: America the Beautiful (includes the Senior Pass), Discovery Pass, or Tonto Forest Daily Pass.

Cost to non-members is $5. Guests and new members need to contact the hike leader prior to the hike.
