Meet at 10:00 am (depart at 10:15) at the Burger King, just south of US 60 at the NE corner of Power Rd and Superstition Springs Blvd. OR email me for directions to the trailhead.

We'll start our hike at the Goldmine Trail, which is the northernmost park entrance, off of Wagon Wheel Rd. We'll hike clockwise going up a relatively steep and loose hard-scrabble section of the Goldmine Trail and then connecting with the Moonlight Trail, San Tan Trail, and then finishing on the scenic Dynamite Trail. At the start of the hike, we'll pass by the graves of Mansel Carter and Marion Kennedy, two gold miners who made Goldfield Mountain their home for many years.

If anyone wants to join me after the hike, I'll be stopping at nearby San Tan Flat Grill & Saloon, 6185 W. Hunt Hwy in Queen Creek for refreshments.

Bring your boots, hat, plenty of water, snacks or lunch, and sunscreen.

Cost to non-members is $5. Guests and new members should contact the hike leader prior to the hike.
