Luke Days Airshow with USAF Thunderbirds

Saturday, April 2, 2016
Bud Tasch - 480-802-2836, 303-868-0216 (cell)

Feel the "need for speed"? The free airshow is back at Luke AFB in the west valley.

Join war-bird enthusiast and former Lockheed Martin scientist Bud and 150,000 others for this exciting all day event. The show will include demo flights of the F-22 Raptor, F-35 Joint Strike fighter, war-birds, static displays and simulators.

Find out how Bud met Pappy Boyington (Ba Ba Black Sheep) and the Japanese Zero ace who shot him down!

Ear plugs or cotton recommended if you are sensitive to jet engine Varrooom or Van Halen. Bring a folding chair, sunscreen, wide-brim hat and prepare for long walks along the flight-line and to/from shuttle buses. I plan to arrive early for front row viewing.

Call or email the leader for information on carpool meeting time and place.
