Meet at 7:15 am (depart at 7:30) at Wendy’s on Shea Blvd, just west of Hwy 87 in Fountain Hills.

This is an in-and-out hike at the center of the Mazatzal Mountains. We’ll begin our ascent of Mt. Ord on an old jeep road that boasts legends of lost mines. We’ll encounter views of the Mazatzal Mountains, the Mogollon Rim, the Sierra Anchas, Tonto Basin, and Roosevelt Lake.

Wear sturdy hiking boots and sunscreen. Hiking sticks are recommended. Bring snacks, lunch, electrolytes and plenty of water. Cost to non-members is $5.
