Meet at 8:00 am (depart 8:15) at the Park-and-Ride at the southwest corner of the Bell Road exit to I-17.

This hike, which also provides an opportunity to work off some of that Thanksgiving feast the day before, will take us past many of the beautiful and less traveled landmarks in north Sedona’s red rock country. We’ll start at the Cibola Pass Trailhead and follow a lollipop loop course, passing Devil's Kitchen, Coffeepot Rock and Chimney Rock along the way. Near Chimney Rock, we’ll take a short diversion off the trail to the very interesting Amitabha Stupa and Peace Park. We’ll also take a couple of short, optional diversions along the way to the summits of Sugarloaf and Little Sugarloaf Mountains.

Afterwards, we’ll have an early dinner in Sedona, probably at the Oak Creek Brewery, then possibly do a little early Christmas shopping in Tlaquepaque before heading home.

Each vehicle will require a Red Rock Pass ($5/car is required at the trailhead).

Bring plenty of water for the hike and warm clothes for afterward.
Cost to non-members is $5.

Guests and new members should call hike leader in advance.
