Meet at 7:30 am (depart 7:45) at the Holiday Inn east side parking area, just south of US 60 on Country Club Dr. in Mesa.

We’ll hike eastward from the Peralta Trailhead along the foot of the Superstition Mountains, passing Barks Canyon and Miners Needle before picking up and continuing eastward on the Coffee Flat Trail. This route affords great views of many spectacular rock formations in the Superstitions, and is also frequently home to beautiful spring wildflowers. So bring your cameras.

Our pace will be medium (around 2.5 mph) on these fairly flat trails, but we’ll be making regular stops along the way for photographs on our out-and-back hike. No children or dogs please.

Cost to non-members is $5. Only guests and new members need to contact the hike leaders prior to the hike.
