A LENGTH: 14.6 mi ELEV GAIN: 3200 ft PACE: Medium

Meet at 6:15 am (depart at 6:30) at the south end of the Kohl's parking lot on the NW corner of Willis and Arizona Ave., 1 block south of the 202 San tan Freeway. An entrance fee of $8 per vehicle or National Parks Pass or equivalent plus $3 for the Bear Creek Tram is required.

Ever wonder what is past Seven Falls? This trip had nice flowers the last time I was here in 2012. We'll zip past the scenic falls and work our way on a good trail and then around some hoodos, to the base of Thimble Peak with spectacular views. Thimble Peak is 5171 ft. We won't monkey around however, after a quick snack we'll head back to catch the last tram and avoid walking 2 more miles.

Dinner stop afterwards for great Mexican food at Nana's Kitchen in Marana. Trip will be canceled in case of rain. No children or dogs please. Bring water and sunscreen. Cost to non-members is $5.
