B LENGTH: 10.1 mi ELEV GAIN: 1500 ft PACE: Medium

Meet at 7 am (depart at 7:15) in the Denny's parking lot on the SW corner of I-17 and Bell Rd. (next to Park and Ride).

After carpooling to the White Tanks Regional Park, we'll do a clockwise loop that encompasses Mesquite Canyon with it's typical desert landscaping, a short jog through Ford Canyon with beautiful views and a good place to spot wildlife, and Willow Canyon where we'll take a quarter-mile side trip to Willow Springs for a snack break and photo op. Although there is 1500 feet of elevation gain, the uphill climb is fairly gentle! Wear sturdy hiking boots and bring 2-3 quarts of water, snacks, and a lunch. Park entry fee is $6 per vehicle unless you have a Maricopa County Park Pass. Cost to non-members is an additional $5.
