This trail is easy to follow. It travels along the rim above a dramatic tributary canyon that drains into Bright Angel Creek. Then it heads into a lovely forest of conifers and aspens. Superb views of the Grand Canyon appear when reaching Widforss Point.

Distance: 10 miles round trip. This trail can be hiked either as a 5 mile out and back (2.5 miles each direction), or can be hiked all the way to Widforss Point trail end as a 10 mile out and back (5 miles to Widforss Point trail end and 5 miles back to the trailhead). Either way chosen provides a moderate hike.

Bring plenty of water, snacks, lunch, and sunscreen.

Cost to non-members is $5.

All should contact the hike leader prior to the hike.
