Meet at 7:00 am (depart at 7:15) at the Walmart, just south of US 60 on Signal Butte Rd. Park along the row facing Signal Butte Rd.

We will hike from the trailhead off the Florence Kelvin Highway. We will cross several washes, hike up the "Big Hill," head south and west to the ridge line. Then we will turn around. This segment of the AZ Trail runs about 28 miles from the Florence Kelvin Highway south to Freeman Rd. The plan is to just do a B or A minus level hike, depending on the groups desire to forge ahead or go back. Views are very pretty.

Bring hat, good boots, plenty of water, sunscreen, snacks, and lunch. Bring extra water to store in car as there are no facilities whatsoever out there. Change of shoes to have comfy feet apres hike is always nice too.

Please email hike leader to confirm.

Non-members - $5 fee and non-members must call the hike leader before the hike.
